Joe Robach knows that the Rochester community has always been extremely supportive when honoring fallen veterans from our area. This past memorial day, Joe Robach was honored to see so many come together and recognize the sacrifice these brave veterans have made for our country, but the respect we pay for them should not partake on this day alone. These heroes deserve to be remembered on a daily basis.
Assemblyman Reilich seeks to do just this for the fallen hero Brian Schramm. He has created the Brian Schramm Post Office Fund in order to raise money to purchase a plaque in memorial in his name. It will be placed on the exterior wall of the post office in Greece.
Brian Schramm was a lifelong resident of Greece who gave his life protecting our countries freedom. After graduating from Olympia High School, he joined the United States Marine Corps. While on his second tour of duty in Iraq, at the age of 22 years old, he lost his life on October 15, 2004.
Donations can be made out to the Brian Schramm United States Post Office Fund and may be dropped off or mailed to any MT&T Bank Branch in the area.
