The New York Army National Guard’s aviation units have deployed to locations in Honduras, Bosnia and Iraq in support of U.S. military missions there. They have also carried out missions here in the United States in response to the 9/11 attacks, Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Tropical Storms Irene and Lee in 2011 and Superstorm Sandy in 2012.
